My first web site was in 1995. Ten years doing web work with Perl, ASP, PHP, Java and a few others, but it was becoming less enjoyable. So, I decided to leave the web to do some database synchronization work instead (it is easier to sync a db than understand all of those configuration files). Ruby, Rails, and its amazingly well thought through conventions – is pulling very refreshing.
